I ordered a couple of books and thought the price was fair for what I received. The site was simple enough to navigate, which made the whole process easy. Shipping wasn’t the fastest, but it also wasn’t unreasonable. Overall, a good experience, and I’d consider ordering again if they had a specific book I was looking for.

My order from Fordham Press arrived packed so well I almost wanted to applaud the box. The books were tucked in super snug, with enough padding that nothing was sliding around or getting tossed like it was on some wild adventure.

No bent corners, no scuffed covers, no tiny tragedy waiting for me when I opened it. I was weirdly stressed about that, so seeing everything in great shape felt like a huge win. Simple thing, but it made me very happy.

The tracking was frustrating. It barely updated at all, so for several days I had no real clue where my package was or whether it was even moving. I kept checking back thinking there would be some kind of new scan or estimated update, but there just wasn’t much information to go on. The order did eventually arrive, but the whole waiting period felt more stressful than it needed to be because the tracking was basically useless.

I liked the cover overall — it felt clean and matched the topic of the book well. The colors were nice too... not too busy or distracting. I do think the text could pop a little more, but overall, it’s a solid design

I was trying to find books on some really specific history and theology things, and somehow Fordham Press had them, which was nice. The site is simple to use, and the descriptions were helpful enough for figuring out what I was looking at. It’s not like a big flashy bookstore or anything, but if you need serious niche books, it kind of does the job well.

The text was clear, the pages loaded without making me question my life choices, and I found the books I was looking for without wandering through a maze of confusing menus. Nice when a website just does its job, honestly.

I expected more from Fordham Press. There were parts where the editing seemed fine, even helpful, but then I’d hit a small error or an awkward spot that really should’ve been caught. So it was weirdly both professional and kind of sloppy at the same time. The communication didn’t help either, replies were slow, though not always unhelpful when they finally came through. Maybe I just had bad luck, and I can see how someone else might have a better experience, but for me it was frustrating enough that I probably wouldn’t use them again...
